In order to help protect patients, family members and health care workers from the spread of COVID-19, no visitors are allowed at any of Wake Forest Baptist Health’s inpatient facilities, except in certain situations. Learn more

At this time, Wake Forest Baptist Health is following state and national guidelines and is limiting COVID-19 testing in the outpatient setting to only patients ill enough to require admission to the hospital. More COVID-19 Updates

Get Involved

Volunteers at Wake Forest Baptist Health Davie Medical Center play a vital role in enhancing the patient and family centered care we provide. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please plan to attend one of the following Volunteer Orientations. These sessions will be held on the 4th floor of Plaza I at Davie Medical Center, and are for adult volunteers only. No registration required.

  • Thursday, July 27 at 2 pm
  • Thursday, October 27 at 2 pm

Davie Medical Center also offers opportunities for volunteers 18 and under, but those trainings are facilitated at our Winston Campus. Please click HERE and look for your appropriate age group on the menu for upcoming training dates and further information.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Greeters
  • Ambassadors
  • Patron Attendants 
  • Golf Cart Drivers

All volunteers assist staff in providing quality care and service to patients and their families.
