What we are studying
The purpose of this study is to better understand risk factors for type 2 diabetes. There are thought to be links between the foods one eats, the gut and microorganisms that live there, levels of the hormone insulin, and glucose, the main sugar that provides energy for the body to function. This study will be measuring these factors at three different times over three years, to better understand why some people develop type 2 diabetes.
