A Study to Understand Individuals with Inherited Kidney Disease

What we are studying

The purpose of this study is to understand the changes that occur in individuals who have an inherited form of kidney disease. This disease tend to run in families and usually turns into kidney failure over time. This study will identify individuals with IKD and compare their kidney function to healthy individuals and individuals with other types of kidney disease.

  • Genders:

    • Women

    • White
    • African American
    • Asian
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • Other
  • All Ethnicities
  • Ages 5+

Eligibility Criteria

  • Either diagnosed with inherited kidney disease or has family members in which there is a history of inherited kidney disease

What is involved

  • Medical History Interview
  • Blood; Saliva; and Urine Sample Collection
