A Group Wide Protocol for Collecting and Banking Pediatric Cancer Research Specimens

What we are studying

This study is being done to collect tissues to learn more about rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) and rhabdomyosarcoma soft tissue sarcoma (NRSTS), and the blood, serum, and bone marrow of people with these tumors. Also to collect specimens for the COG soft tissue sarcoma tissue bank for future research.

  • Genders:

    • Women
  • Races:
    • White
    • African American
    • Asian
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • Other
  • All Ethnicities
  • All Ages up to 50

Eligibility Criteria

  • <50 years of age at time of enrollment
  • Diagnosed with RMS or NRSTS

What is involved

  • Nothing other than standard of care biopsies/tissue samples/blood draws
